“Pride is a family friendly festival celebrating inclusivity and love in the community.

The Pride in London and Brighton weekends have exploded into huge events that attract millions of visitors and pave the way to local towns to run smaller events celebrating their communities.

Merton is not only one of London’s top boroughs, but also boasts commercial centres: Morden, Mitcham, Raynes Park, Colliers Wood, Wimbledon (one of the most famous towns and internationally recognised).

This incredible borough never has hosted its own pride festival. Until now…

Merton Pride will be a free weekend long family event celebrating Merton’s diverse LGBT+ community. The weekend will feature hours of free live music under Merton Abbey Mills historic bandstand, speeches and talks from local LGBT+ organizations, theatre shows and performances inside Colour House Theatre, market stalls and information stands representing local LGBT+ organizations, family attractions, funfair stalls and more…”
