There will be no study spaces, physical copies of newspapers and magazines, access to public toilets, group activities or space hire until further notice.

Book Returns

During library opening hours, customers can return books by placing them on the returns table/bin/trolley located near the entrance to the library. There is no need to join a queue to return books. You can also return books through book box drops outside West Barnes, Raynes Park, Colliers Wood, Wimbledon & Mitcham libraries, whilst the libraries are closed.

Loan items that people have kept during lockdown have had their return dates extended until 1st September 2020.

These computers are available for library members to use but advanced booking is required and other restrictions will apply. Public computers can be booked online, by telephone or at one of the open libraries in advance.

Bookings are for a maximum of a single one hour slot per adult library member, per day. Children’s public computers will not be available and cannot be booked. Only library members who have a booking will be invited into the computer area. To ensure social distancing, guests including children will not be permitted at this time.

All public computers will be sanitised after every use and social distancing measures will be in place in the computer rooms. Customers are requested to use the hand sanitising stations at the entrances to the computer area.
